Terms of Service
Welcome to Taskivity ("we", "our", "us"). By accessing or using Taskivity at taskivity.app or any related subdomain, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using the platform.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering an account, creating a workspace, or using any feature of Taskivity, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Taskivity under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. By using Taskivity, you represent that you meet this requirement. Use by minors is not permitted.
3. Account Responsibilities
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- Sharing login credentials with others or allowing simultaneous access from multiple unauthorised devices is a violation of these Terms and may result in account suspension.
- Each paid subscription is licensed to a single organisation or workspace. Using one account across multiple organisations, firms, or business entities — including by changing workspace settings to serve a different client or organisation — is strictly prohibited and constitutes misuse of the subscription.
- Each paid subscription is licensed to a single workspace. You may not resell, sublicense, or share access.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Notify us immediately at support@taskivity.app if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Workspace Administration
Workspace administrators control member access, invite links, visibility of tasks, remarks, and announcements within their workspace. It is the administrator's responsibility to add only authorised members and manage internal permissions responsibly.
5. Plans, Billing & Refunds
- Taskivity offers Free, Starter, and Professional plans.
- Payments for paid plans are processed securely through Razorpay. Taskivity does not store card or banking details on its own servers.
- Trial periods may be offered at Taskivity's discretion and will be communicated at the time of offering. At the end of a trial period, the workspace automatically downgrades to the Free plan unless a paid upgrade is completed before the trial ends.
- Paid access runs for the selected monthly or yearly period shown for the workspace. The current version does not promise self-service auto-renewal or in-app cancellation controls unless expressly stated at the time of purchase.
- Refund policy: Refund requests, where applicable, may be considered according to the refund terms displayed at the time of purchase. Contact help@taskivity.app for billing queries and support@taskivity.app for technical payment issues.
- We reserve the right to modify pricing with advance notice.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Taskivity to:
- Upload or distribute unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or harmful content.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the platform's infrastructure.
- Circumvent technical measures such as concurrent device limits or CSRF protections.
- Impersonate any person or entity.
- Violate any applicable Indian or international law.
7. Data & Privacy
Your use of Taskivity is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using voice input or microphone-based features, you agree that microphone access will be used only to perform the action you initiate inside the app.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, logos, code, and design elements of Taskivity are the exclusive property of Taskivity and its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the platform solely for your internal business purposes.
You retain ownership of data and content you upload to the platform. By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to store and display it solely to operate the service.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your access to the platform will cease and your data may be deleted in accordance with our retention policy.
You may request account deletion at any time by contacting help@taskivity.app or support@taskivity.app.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
Taskivity is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted under the IT Act, 2000, Taskivity shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Ranchi, Jharkhand. We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any disputes informally.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice before taking effect. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes your acceptance.
